I bought this Inspiron 1520 Battery when I was having problems with charging on my computer, it turned out to be the power adapter. I love this so much I kept it and it was under $100, a lot less than Dell wanted. I did not realize when I purchased this that it was not the same as my original. This is a 9 cell as opposed to my old 6 cell dell laptop battery. I now have twice as long before recharging and it charges just as quickly. It does stick out the back of my computer, but I can live with it. So far I am very pleased.

I am pleased with the way I was handled by this company. They responded and sent the proper Inspiron 1520 Battery over night and included a sticker to send back the other battery. i would rate their care in this matter as 5 star

I'm always a bit on the hold when I see such a price difference. $140 at Dell, less $70 at aussie battery. But what the hell, give it a try. And I was right to do so. This battery is perfect. On a almost 4 year laptop ther is no reason to spend more. Just one thing don't forget, you can reload your Inspiron 1520 battery as often as you want as long as you don't interrupt. Once a month make a full reload. And never, NEVER, go under 10%, that's wearing the batttery.Otherwise enjoy the 2h30 hour of this cheap product.

I got this battery for my Inspiron 1520 and it works great! It lasts about the same if not longer than the original dell battery did intially. I highly recommend this battery if you ever need to replace yours or if you want a back up battery.
